Payments, refunds and cancellation

How paying for a website from The Agent They Call works, and what happens if you stop. The Agent They Call is a brand of Darkhorse Traders LLC ("we," "us"). Your signed agreement has the final word; this page explains it in plain English.

What you pay

Each package has a one-time build fee and a monthly fee. Prices are on our home page and in your agreement.

• Build fee, first half: paid when you sign, so we can start.
• Build fee, second half: paid at launch, before your site goes live on your domain.
• Monthly fee: starts the day your site launches and is billed each month, in advance.

We bill by invoice or card through Stripe. We never ask for card numbers by email, text or phone.

Refunds

• Changed your mind early: if you cancel within 3 business days of your first payment and before your kickoff call, we refund the first half in full.
• After the kickoff call: the first half pays for work that has already started, so it isn't refundable.
• If you stop before launch: you don't owe the second half.
• If we can't deliver: if we don't launch your site and the delay is ours, not waiting on your photos, logins or approvals, you can cancel and we refund what you paid toward the build.
• Monthly fees: not refunded for a month already started.

Cancelling your monthly plan

There's no long-term contract. Cancel any time by email with 30 days' notice. Your site stays up and supported until the end of that period.

When you leave, your information goes with you: we export every lead and contact to you and help move your domain into your name. The design, tools and code we built stay with us.

Late or failed payments

If a payment fails, we'll let you know and give you 14 days to fix it before pausing the site.
